New song – When I need you most

Today being Valentine Day and all, I thought I would spend my Sunday recording this song I wrote a few months back. This is the latest song I wrote actually, it is about having doubts, feeling that sometimes your life is already decided for you, but then finding peace and salvation in the arms of the your loved one. Hope you like it!

Lyrics at the bottom of this 🙂

When I need you most

Here i am, once again
Empty papers lying all around
But there's nothing left to write
Do you see the story's been written?
Or can I still change the end?

So i am still, and i am cold
Like the fire in my heart is now nothing but a pile of coal
And we're here
And we're now

We're navigating
We're navigating through life in a ghost ship
I want a taste of life, maybe just a sip
Oh, does it mean anything?

So we're still and i am cold
Like the fire in my heart is now nothing but a pile of coal
And we're here
And we're now
And i feel there's gotta be something there that's oughta be told
And here I am
Alone

Show me my life ain't such a failure
Show me your love can be my savior
Cos it's all blowing up in my mind
So please hold me now
Cos i need you now
Now and more than i ever did
Don't let me lose my ground
Cos i need you now

All the same – a song about us all

Not that new of a song really, but finally recorded it. The sound is so-so but I think the message is a simple yet an important one. Who cares about race, religion, sexual orientation and all our other differences. We are richer as a People because of these differences, not in spite of them. We have so many other things to worry about like how our Earth is slowly but surely warming up and decaying. We cannot waste time debating about the right or wrong of everyone’s intimate choices.

Now, can we all just accept each other, just the way you are?
